TEL Train-the-Trainer WorkshopsTEL Train-the-Trainer Workshops 2010 were very succesful! Thank you for attending. Future workshops will be scheduled in 2011. Check back for more info! Welcome ALL those interested in Spreading the Word about TEL! Being a TEL Trainer gives you the opportunity to share with the members of your library or community a wonderful resource that will enrich and enhance their lives. Don't worry about all that you need to learn... think about all that you have to give! In 2010, TEL Train-the-Trainer was offered two tracks for attendees to choose from: Track 1: TEL Training for your Institution will teach librarians how to use the TEL databases so they can share this resource with their students, patrons and/or the faculty at their institution. Track 2: TEL Training for Outreach will train individuals on how to provide TEL workshops to local libraries, schools, and other community groups outside of their institution. TEL Train-the-Trainer Workshops are normally held in three locations across the state (one in each of the grand divisions). TEL vendors and other special guests are on-hand to demonstrate the TEL databases and to provide attendees with helpful training strategies and techniques.

There is no charge for these sessions, and attendees will have lunch on their own. Because of the large demand for limited seating, we request that libraries send no more than two representatives (one for each track). Attendees will go back to their libraries and communities to relay what they learn to others.
